Welcome to my portfolio! Thank you for visiting. I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and provide some insight into my design process.
My name is Ricardo Schafer. As both a motion designer and a comic book artist, my work often involves finding creative solutions for diverse projects and crafting compelling narratives and compositions—frequently exploring themes of science fiction and optimistic philosophies—to immerse viewers in engaging visual journeys.
Currently, I'm pursuing a degree in Media Interaction Design at the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück. This field offers a diverse curriculum, allowing us to develop a wide range of skills. Key areas of study include:
UX/UI Design: Focusing on the psychological principles of interaction and dialogue.
Illustration: Developing visual concepts and artwork.
Video Production: Covering 2D/3D animation and photography.
Prototyping: Creating functional models for applications and websites.
3D Modeling: Building digital objects and environments.
Programming: Developing applications, websites, or video games from prototypes.
This broad education allows us to specialize while understanding the wider design context, which makes interdisciplinary teamwork an exciting and productive endeavor for us.
My personal passions lie strongly in illustration, photography, and videography, particularly 2D/3D animation. This fuels my drive for effective storytelling and my commitment to producing high-quality results. Furthermore, my enthusiasm for programming and video games reinforces my dedication to projects and my pursuit of optimal outcomes.
I am always enthusiastic about contributing to interesting projects and collaborating within a team environment, enjoying the creative process together.
